Bi-District Contest Saturday, April 4 at Midway PAC

The UIL has suspended this contest for the time being.

Temple's One-Act Play Team will be competing at the Bi-District  Contest on Saturday, April 4, at the Midway ISD Performing Arts Center, 800 North Hewitt Drive, Hewitt, TX 76643. Temple will be the 3rd school to perform.

Performances begin at 12 Noon and run back-to-back. (*approximate time)
12 Noon  Rockwall High, Death of a Salesman  (Photos)
*12:55 p.m. Rockwall-Heath High. Yerma  (Photos)
*1:50 p.m. Temple High, Mac Beth
*2:45 p.m. Robert E. Lee High (Tyler), The Cripple of Inishmaan  (Photos)
*3:40 p.m. Midway High, Shakespeare in Hollywood
*4:35 p.m. Waco High, Ada and the Engine
Auditorium doors are typically closed during each performance and audience members may enter or leave only between performances.

Critic judges include Nancy Jo Humfeld, Gregory Arp and Joe Brown. Contest manager is Jerry Blake. (CLICK HERE to read about the judges and the contest manager.)

Nothing has been announced yet about an admission charge. If driving from Temple on Interstate 35, take Exit 325 (Hewitt Drive) and turn left. Stay on Hewitt Drive for around 4.5 miles and you will see the Performing Arts Center on your right, in front of the football stadium.

Temple's rehearsal time will be Friday, March 20, at 5:40 p.m. Three of the six schools will advance to the area contest, which will be Saturday, April 4, at the Midway Performing Arts Center.
