Mary (Grace Mellette), Fanny (Adara Felix), and Alexandra (Sierra Amalbert), three women who are each intrepid world explorers in their own right, band together to conquer Terra Incognita, the last and most mysterious of unexplored territories. As they bushwhack their way through jungles, brave treacherous ice sheets, and negotiate passage across a bottomless Gorge, the ladies reminisce about their past adventures and sort out their personality differences.
They are constantly in pursuit of adventure that takes them far away from their homeland of Victorian America. Intelligent, intrepid, and inquisitive, they long for discovery of that which is greater than their own world while still maintaining some sense of gentlewoman decorum.
The three ladies encounter several diverse beings on their travels, which include different times as well as different locations. These characters include Alphonse (Gabriel Salazar) who knows a smattering of German and has an accent to match; The Gorge Troll (Anthony Williamson) who is looking for a toll; The Yeti (D'Andre Wright); Gus (Seth Little). a fresh-faced American teenager with boundless energy; and Madame Nhu (Genevieve Myers), a psychic of sorts.
They also encounte a number of mysterious artifacts: egg beaters, dirigibles, political campaign buttons, and newspaper clippings from the 1900s. On this one-way journey through space and time, each lady discovers her own unique destiny in the beautiful, loud, and brightly lit future.
